With the formation of Meister Europe GmbH, IFOK intensifies its international orientation.
After the successful launch of its subsidiary Meister Consultants Group in the USA, IFOK reinforces its international competitiveness with the formation of its second subsidiary Meister Europe GmbH.
Armin Huttenlocher, one of Germany’s most renowned Corporate and Public Affairs consultants, will join Meister Europe as CEO. Currently he oversees the Public and Corporate Affairs departments at FleishmanHillard Germany as managing director and senior partner. He is an expert in the fields of Food & Agriculture, Energy, Corporate Positioning and Corporate Responsibility. Additionally, he has established an international reputation as a mediator in complex conflicts. Armin Huttenlocher will take up his new post in August.
The formation of Meister Europe GmbH is a consequent response to the growing demand of existing and potential clients for consulting in international contexts, explains Hans-Peter Meister, founder and managing director of the German IFOK GmbH and the international Meister Consultants Group. “Our consulting approach in the fields of sustainability, participation and dialog has been implemented in Germany, the US and more than 20 other countries. Therefore, the formation of a subsidiary which focuses on the European market is a next big step in our international strategy.”
In addition to the expansion of the activities in Brussels and the EU member states, emphasis will be placed on Eastern Europe. “It becomes more and more apparent that also in these states economic prosperity and political stabilization can only be achieved by promoting the civil society and fostering a continuous and pragmatic dialog between all stakeholders and interest groups.”
