Focus: Strategic communication and participation in climate protection, energy, transportation and infrastructure Projects
Stefan Denig brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications planning, PR and sustainability research. He has overseen a variety of studies and research projects in climate protection, sustainable urbanization, digitalization and infrastructure, including the Green City Index, the first comprehensive analysis of environmental performance in the world’s 150 largest cities. As part of a joint project with Siemens and the City of London, he built a public exhibition and conference centre on sustainable urbanization in London’s Docklands. In Brussels, he was responsible for global communications at EIT Climate-KIC and the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy. After gaining experience working in NGOs, technology and finance companies and PR agencies in Germany, the UK, Belgium, France and the USA, he joined IFOK in 2018.
