Why do you work at ifok?

The excellent cooperation in the team and the exciting topics that challenge me every day, but also motivate me at the same time.

Since when have you been working here and where were you previously?

I have been with ifok since May 2019. I am a passionate researcher at heart, which is still evident at ifok today. In the five years before I joined ifok, I led an application-oriented research project on local energy transition.

What drives you in your working life?

Simple is not good enough for me 😉! I always need a challenge.

What do you like doing in your free time?

Upcycling – I enjoy making new things out of old things. This ranges from a tree house made from bulky waste, a raised bed made from pallets to a CD case cabinet or a coconut kitchen lamp.
