What made you decide to work at ifok?

ifok offers me the variety that I need for my working life: the variety of topics, projects, methods, ways of working and – last, but certainly not least – the colleagues. Everyone has the chance to bring his or her own ideas and visions to the table – with a sustainable future in mind. Every day brings new kinds of fun.

When did you start at ifok and where were you beforehand?

I have been in the team since May 2013. Prior to that, I worked in political communications in Berlin, where I delivered projects in sustainability and the world of work. During my studies, I also worked in the policy department of the German Embassy in Washington DC, in policy advice and journalism.

What sets you apart at the office?

Even when projects are tricky or you are expected to work under extreme time pressure, a bit of fun and a good sense of humor are essential for good work. I try to make that a daily reality in my projects and teams. I am known for having an eye for details, for the important things and for being able to keep an overview over everything, even in turbulent times.

What do you love doing in your free time and how do you try to live a sustainable life?

You can often find me on the Tempelhof Field in Berlin – rollerblading, going for a walk or strolling around the garden. I love the broad expanse of the field and the quality of the light there – it is completely unique in the capital. Otherwise, I enjoy travelling, for example hiking in the mountains or going to the sea. I always try to be sustainable when out and about: I use my bike to get to work and use the trains when going on vacation.
