„When I am convinced by an idea, that is what sends me into overdrive.“
What made you decide to work at ifok?
The global challenges are so complex that they can only be solved with the power and knowledge of the many – sounds simple and clear, but is difficult to implement. I am convinced that transformation will only succeed if many people enter into dialogue, share their knowledge and work together on the big questions. That’s what ifok does and I want to be a part of that.
How long have you been part of the ifok team and where were you before?
I joined in February 2020, so I started just before the pandemic and directly experienced a company in transition. On my way to ifok, I took a detour through the field of international development cooperation and teaching at the university level.
What sets you apart at the office?
When an idea has taken a hold of me and I am convinced of its effect, that is what sends me into overdrive. Then I start running and am grateful for the many colleagues who keep pointing me towards other exciting aspects that need to be taken into account.
What do you do in your spare time?
Very exotic: I like to run and walk. Fast and slow, vertically and horizontally, in mountains and valleys, on ice and snow. The path, nature, the landscape, the impressions and the stories are my ultimate goal.
